Dear Sir:
The reason for this letter is due to the fact of my visit to the service department on November 3, 2009. I had previously purchased my RV from Pete's and so have used the service department previously. Always all personnel has been polite and well informed.
On this date when leaving to drive home ... on I89 I noticed that the legs of the awning were detached and waving in the air. So with emergency lights on I continue to the truck pull off and there called the service department. They did say that the RV was washed (which was great) yet they would check on the awning. Immediately the service person continued by relating that someone was on their way to help and solve the problem. This person arrived very quickly and solved the problem.
The service department followed up with additional calls ... "Was I all right, etc." and quickly admitted it was their fault. This honesty and concern I really appreciated since it is not always communicated to the customer. As you know purchasing an RV is relatively an easy event yet service and continued concern to me makes the difference.
I do appreciate this service and the personnel at Pete's RV Center.

I would like to thank your company for providing us with Louie Cooper as our sales rep. I have no idea how lucky we were to get him, Louie has been hounded by so many calls from me, Iam surprised he didn't put a block on his phone. Joe, we had our first trip with the new camper. Everything went great. We definitely chose the right model AND the right dealer. I cannot tell you how happy we are with the decision to go with Pete’s. We were somewhat nervous because it just seems like things never quite turn out like they should, and other dealers are very negative on the internet sales process. We heard everything from "they cannot sell it for that" to "there must be something wrong with the unit" In this case, everything worked out just like you said it would. You worked with us through half a dozen models, and never seemed to lose confidence. The delivery driver was punctual, very courteous, and delivered the coach right to our driveway as agreed. A bit of a challenge due to the driveway and other parked cars, but obviously he had done this before. He opened the slides and was knowledgeable about the unit. In the end, we got exactly what we wanted, and saved THOUSANDS Please let everyone at Pete’s know how pleased we are. Thank you again.

I recently had a problem finding a blown fuse in the towing lights electrical package on my motorhome. I had researched the problem for 2 days when I decided to call Pete’s RV for help. After a 2 minute conversation with Peter in the service department I located the fuse and was able to fix the problem. Dear Sir:
On Monday morning, August 17th, as we were preparing to head home to New Hampshire, after attending the RV rally at the Expo Center, we found ourselves with an awning problem. One of the maintenance men at the Expo directed us to your location. I am writing to you to express our thanks to Alan Marrier, Service Advisor, and two technicians, Peter an Dana. Upon arrival at about 9 AM, I was directed to Alan, who greeted me and said he would be with us in a couple of minutes. As promised, he came out to the yard, took a quick look and said, stand by, I’ll get someone to take care of the problem. In less than a half hour, Peter, Dana and for a brief minute or two, Alan, who came out to check on the progress of the repair, had the problem corrected. What happened next, we found unusual in today’s business. Peter took a few minutes to show my wife and I what had caused the problem, and more importantly, how to prevent it, and if needed, how to correct it. Being relatively new RVers, we were very satisfied with how a drop-in customer was treated and taken care of in such a short period of time by employees of your firm.

I wanted to tell you that I stopped in to pick up my camper last Friday. The service team actually washed my camper before they handed it over. I can tell you that this type of service is why I continue to use your organization. Please make sure that the service team knows that we appreciate their efforts.

In October of 2207 we took delivery of a 2208 Keystone Montana 5TH wheel from this dealership. Our unit had been specially ordered from the factory and as is customary with any new manufactured vehicle, during the first year of use our’s was not without its annoying problems. Upon contacting the Service Department at Pete’s we must say that they were extremely helpful with resolving each and every issue we encountered. In a couple instances when Keystone Corporation was somewhat reluctant to facilitate a satisfactory resolution, Alan Marrier or Ed Krempecke of the Service Dept. were on the phone seeking answers to ensure that the particular problem was corrected and that we were totally satisfied. One specific problem, determined by Keystone to be normal wear (after 4 months use) as justification for their refusal of coverage was corrected from within the Service Department at Pete’s, They have made every possible attempt to ensure our overall satisfaction.

Everyone at this dealership from Sales, Parts, Maintenance or any other department have always been very helpful, cordial, and attentive to our needs any time we have visited the site. We would highly recommend Pete’s RV to anyone interested in purchasing a Keystone product.

Linda and I want to thank you for your time educating us on RV’s. We still haven’t decided on a course of action although I think we now have a better understanding of the upsides and downsides of various RV offerings.
We did decide on one thing though. If we went with any RV it would have to have a permanent bed and not something that converted into a bed and be no smaller than the size of a Lexington.
If you think there is something that we might be interested in, please keep us in mind.

Dear Sir,
We are the owners of a new Gulfstream Motor Home. Since taking delivery of this unit we have had constant problems with our satellite dish and TV system. After contacting both the dealer and manufacturer of both the system and the unit we were frustrated with constant problems with this unit. We were of course very aggravated with the problem and inability of anyone to pinpoint our problem so that it could be corrected.
While traveling in your area the problem again occurred. We contacted your establishment from your listing in the telephone book. Your service manager told us that your service department was fully booked but if we brought the unit in they would try to get one of your techs to look at it and see if he could make a recommendation to its cause and suggestion as to how to correct it. When we arrived at your service area Mr. Terry Shepard inspected the unit and was able to tell us what the problem was and how to correct it. He spend much time with us and gave us wonderful help and advice. As of now we have had no further problems with this unit.
In these days of less than stellar service at so many locations it was a pleasant surprise to receive such pleasant and helpful service. Every person we contacted in your organization was pleasant and helpful. We commend you on putting together a staff of helpful people.
We would appreciate your informing Mr. Shepard that out TV and satellite dish have worked perfectly since we were there.

I’m writing to congratulate you and your staff for something that we don’t find anymore, it’s called customer service.
About 1-½ years ago, I purchased a 2000 Georgie Boy Motor home from you, and that negotiation went just fine. It wasn’t until I owned the unit, traveled with it and from time to time began to need assistance. Then I discovered the outstanding customer service that I mentioned before. Whenever I called and spoke to Ed or Pete or someone else, they took the time to solve my problem, no matter how long it took. They were knowledgeable and patient. About a week and a half ago traveling South, I had another incident and need some advice, and again the same thing happened. When I hung up with Ed, I said to my wife “I’ve got to write a letter to the owner”. These people have really lived up to their promise of Customer Service.

I have a question, I am looking for a portable gray water tank, Now I have found one that Coleman shows on their website, if you scroll down you will see a link and a picture for portable gray water storage system. I was wondering if you are able to get that with the mounting underneath? I would like to say thank you for the service I recently received. Pete’s shop could not have done a better job. You made me feel as though you had know me for a long time, very customer friendly as was everyone that I came in contact with while I was there, including the tech that performed the work.
I am well satisfied with the workmanship and the way that my wife and I and another coach that was traveling with us was treated.
We love out Ultrasport and because of the way that we were treated we will not hesitate to purchase another. I will continue to recommend Pete’s RV Center to our friends.
My wife and I have been RVing since 1980, we have had a number of campers from tag a longs to 5th wheels to motor homes. I don’t think I have ever been at a Dealership for repairs and been treated as well as the people at Pete’s RV treated us. The folks in service go out of their way to accommodate you. Their service is definitely customer friendly and makes you feel at home. The owner could not do enough for us including offering us a vehicle to drive around in when he thought we didn’t have a car. The receptionist even offered us her car.
All in All the whole experience has been very pleasant and something that we will tell our friends about. Thank you again for going above and beyond, but Pete’s RV does have that reputation.

My wife and I have been RV travelers for nearly 12 years and in 2002 we purchased a new Damon Intruder RV with the intent of becoming “full timers”. The model we chose had a Workhorse Chassis and drove like a dream. However, in the nearly 4 years out windshields popped and had to be reset 5 times. Our Dealer Pete’s RV Center in South Burlington, VT worked diligently to try to find the reason for this problem.
At the Southeast FMCA RALLY in Brookville, Florida this February, I attended a seminar sponsored by Workhorse Corp. It was there that I learned Workhorse had some problems with the front-end shocks on some models manufactured in 2002 and 2003. I passed this information on to my dealer who once again contacted Damon Corp.
To the credit of Damon Corp and Workhorse Corp., Workhorse reimbursed the cost of replacing the front end shocks to me, even though I was presently beyond the 3 year warranty period.
Damon Corp. and Workhorse Corp. proved that good American Companies would stand behind their products. But even more important, it is the selection of a reputable Dealer like PETE’S RV Center.

Recently while on a vacation in a remote area of the Adirondacks, our refrigerator quick working on gas. Since we were dry camping it was a crisis. After finding a location where a cell phone would work (high on a rock) I was able to contact your service dept. and explained our problem to a service tech. He walked me thru the procedure of bleeding the propane tanks. We returned to camp, followed his instructions and it started. The tech was patient and knowledgeable with me on the phone. Our problem was solved and we appreciated all you did to help us.

Finally made it south it’s great to be here, took us 3 days 1 bad day of traveling “weather” it’s nice to do summer camping in February and March. We wouldn’t be here though if it wasn’t for Pete’s RV Center’s great service Dept. The day before we were supposed to leave our furnace stopped working. Pete’s got us right in that same day without an appointment and solved our situation. We were able to leave on schedule. Thanks again.

After traveling 700 miles from Chesapeake, VA to Essex Junction VT to attend the Masonic Rally (National Camping Travelers), my wife and I were traveling in a 36 ft. Holiday Motor Home.
Arriving safely and being parked at the Champlain Valley Exposition Center, I discovered a bad leak from the transmission. Being a stranger in a state where I did not know anybody, so I went to Pete’s RV center for help.
Pete’s RV center is to be commended and fortunate to have in their employment such wonderful and kind people, in helping me to get the transmission repaired and doing a great job getting me on the road again.
In my time of trouble Pete’s RV Center was a friend in deed, and I will forever be grateful.

Hey all,
Just wanted to give a shout out about our recent Outback 29RLS purchase. We went to Pete’s RV Center in South Burlington, VT with a bit of a chip on our shoulders, but left today totally won over due mostly to our salesman. DH and I went to Pete’s on a Sunday about two weeks ago and they had lots of Outbacks in stock, outside all locked, so DH and I went inside, I went to the ladies room, DH went looking for salesman. I came out of the ladies room to hear DH shout “Holy Cow you scared me” followed by two men laughing!! Anyway the other laugh was coming from our salesman. He trudged outside with us, through ice and snow battery pack in tow!! We looked at a minimum of 7 TT’s and 5ers, some Outbacks and some not. After about an hour our salesman told us he was only there to meet with another customer!! It was Sunday and the dealership was closed!! We said, “go take care of them, we’ll come back during open hours”, and our salesman said they were being taken care of, and kept right on with us, BUT as a former salesperson myself, I made him go at least check in. He did, and came back to us in the 29RLS, we ran some numbers, etc and after about three hours total, we all went home. Over the course of the next two weeks, we looked again and again, and our salesman was a trooper, putting out slides, answering questions, always with a smile. We didn’t want to sign papers until after our local show, but wanted to close by the 29th, so our salesman got to put our sale in his Feb. count. (Again previous sales person Feb in VT is a tough month) So we went to the show the morning of the 29th, didn’t see anything that beat our Outback, and went back to Pete’s RV Center, and signed the papers.

Dear Ed,
Here is the receipt for the electric jack we had to replace on our trip from Vermont to Florida. We had the furnace looked at yesterday by Florida Outdoors and they determined that it is the fan motor and sail switch that needs to be replaced. Unfortunately they did not have the parts in stock and we are leaving for LA in two days. We will have it repaired once we get settled again. The repair has been pre-approved by Easy Care.

Dear Mr. Shepard,
I’m writing to congratulate you and your staff for something that we don’t find anymore – it’s called customer service.
About 1-1/2 years ago, I purchased a 2000 Georgie Boy from you and that negotiation went just fine. It wasn’t until I owned the unit, traveled with it, and from time to time began to need assistance. Then I discovered the outstanding customer service that I mentioned before. Whenever I called and spoke to Ed or Pete or someone else, they took the time to solve my problem, no matter how long it took. They were knowledgeable and patient. About a week and a half ago, traveling South, I had another incident and needed some advice, and again the same thing happened. When I hung up with Ed, I said to my wife “I’ve got to write a letter to the owner. These people have really lived up to their promise of customer service.”
