With thanks to Mother Nature, a sunny weekend helped compliment a busy event. Even in January, it was great to see the large number of folks that turned out to “Get Lost RVing” (as far away as MD!).

Most of the Pete’s RV Team was on hand to guide visitors through our showroom, service area with additional show models, parts and accessories store and lot. Altogether, we had more than 200 models open for viewing!

Congratulations and thanks to all of the new RV owners. We share your excitement in getting to use it for the first time on your next RVing adventure.

Two new employees were recently added to the Pete’s RV Team.

Rick Campbell - RV Lifestyle Consultant

Rick comes to Pete’s RV with more than 15 years of camping enthusiasm and experience.  He takes this knowledge to the table helping families fulfill their dream of owning that special RV.  Rick’s sales experience includes successful years at Vermont Country Campers.

When not on the lot or showroom at Pete’s RV Center, you can find Rick camping with his family, riding his motorcycle, or simply enjoying the Vermont lifestyle with his wife, 2 children and 3 dogs.

Phil LeClair - Internet Marketing Manager

Phil is responsible for overseeing Pete’s RV internet marketing program which centers around our state-of-the-art website.  He ensures that the website is optimized for searchability, usability, content integrity, and keeping it synched up with our social networking sites (like Facebook and Twitter), emailers and in-house marketing activities.  Phil comes to Pete’s RV from online marketing consultancy, Epikone.

Phil spends time away from his computer playing or coaching ice hockey, weight training and listening to his growing record collection.  Phil, his wife and two children enjoy any vacation that includes a beach, and look forward to becoming more involved in the RVing community.

Touted as “America’s Largest RV Show”, Pete’s RV traveled out to Clevland, OH 1/6-1/10 to visit the RV Supershow.

Represented by Business Manager, Kyle Williams–and battling through a hard core winter storm–he reported initial slow traffic during the first couple of days.  But once people were able to shovel out and get to the I-X Center, foot traffic picked up big time.

He noted a very upbeat crowd and focused consumers looking to buy in a revitalized RV market.

Interestingly, park trailers such as Keystone Residence were heavily viewed.  Looks like a number of folks are looking to park and stay put this RVing season!

RV Lifestyle consultant, Joe Vartuli was able to take in the sites and sounds of the 27th Annual Northeast RV and Camping Show 1/8-10 at the CT Convention Center in Downtown Hartford. 

He reported a significant boost in attendance from last year’s show.  There was a lot of positive buzz surrounding the upcoming season and attendee intent to find the RV of their dreams!

Keystone RV brands received a lot of attention.  A constant line of attendees waited to get a peek at the new floorplans.  Features such as the Cougar’s cherry cabinetry, L-shaped sofas and front living room offered in the Montana 3750FL and 3651RE, and Springdale’s one-touch package got rave reviews.

With the RV Show season just kicking off, stay tuned for more feedback and news from around the U.S!
